The Genbukan Ninpo Bugei Kohaku Dojo started in Southampton on November 28th 1994 (Genbukan Birthday 1984) after Mr Leo Spencer performed a public demonstration of Ninpo Taijutsu, weapons and Jujutsu to open the new Dojo. Tanemura Sensei gave the new Dojo the name of "Kohaku" which is to be translated as "Amber Jewel". The UK Kohaku Dojo has main branch Dojo based in Southampton, Hampshire, UK with branch Dojo in different areas of the UK. All Branch Dojo and Dojo Cho are certified and registered under Honbu Dojo Japan. UK Kohaku Dojo has Ninpo Taijutsu (Genbukan Ninpo Bugei) Jujutsu (Kokusai Jujutsu Renmei) and Weapons training available for all.

For training days, times and Dojo location please contact your nearest Dojo Cho (Instructor). In addition to regular Dojo training there are monthly seminars held at the Kohaku Dojo (Main Branch) and regular gradings to advance through the Genbukan Ninpo Bugei, KJJR and Weapon systems. Kohaku Dojo training starts from Kyu (beginner) and Dan (black belt) to preparation and training for the advanced master levels (Renshi, Kyoshi, Shihan, Menkyo) of Genbukan Ninpo Bugei. There are also study trips to Japan to train directly under Tanemura Soke at Genbukan Honbu Dojo. Kohaku Dojo members frequently travel internationally to train directly under Tanemura Soke on Taikai (Seminars) To the present day the Kohaku Dojo maintains and preserves the martial arts training, heart to heart connection and loyalty to the traditions of Genbukan Ninpo Bugei Dojo.
